When I moved out of the country, I had to use a clothesline to dry my clothes. I was not accustomed to drying my clothes that way, so it was very new for me. I also did not like the idea of bugs flying around my clothes. I was always afraid that I would bring my clothes in and there would be bugs all over them. My roommate was just the opposite of me. She would hang all of her clothes out there with no problem. She loved bugs and did not mind having her clothes out around them. I think another bad thing about hanging your clothes on a line is that you can’t do it when it is raining outside. You also have to remember to bring your clothes in if it does start raining. Washing clothes there meant checking the weather before doing so. On the plus side, my clothes did smell like fresh meadows and sunshine.
